What is the Street Feeding Bowl Project?
In order to meet the nutritional needs of our cat and dog friends living on the street, we produce feeding bowls from various materials that are easy to find. We place the feeding bowls in the streets and alleys where cats and dogs mostly live. Our volunteer teams check that the food is always dry and full in the bowls on a regular basis.
Make A Feeding Bowl
We want to expand our project in every province of our country, especially in Istanbul. In this matter, we require your support and attention. By producing a feeding bowl in the city you live in, you can provide our little friends in your neighborhood with food and love.
How Can I Make A Feeding Bowl?
- We use a 20-liter carboy bottle and cut a 25 by 20 cm hole in the front.
- We cover the sharp edge of the hole we cut with a white rubber band.
- With spray paint, you can give the carboy any color you like.
- To prevent it from getting wet, close the lid after putting food in the carboy.
You can help spread the word about our project by posting a picture of your feeding bowl on social media and using the hashtag #sokaktamamakabım. If you send us a photo of your feeding bowl, we will send you a Umuda Koşanlar sticker. So you can put the sticker on your bowl, and you will be instrumental in filling the stomachs of our lovely friends and spreading goodness and hope on this path.

Own A Feeding Bowl
In order to instill a love for street animals in our kids, we encourage them to adopt feeding bowls. During our weekly visits, we give toys to the kids who own the feeding bowl and enjoy playing with them.
How Can I Support?
