The new school year is starting. We also share the excitement that our children are experiencing as they start a new school year. As we do every year, we have begun our campaigns to support children with stationery aids, so they don't go without essentials for school. This year, we want to provide 6,000 of our student children with stationery bags.
Education support is one of the most essential concerns in our work with children. Our teams in the area check and consider the necessities of the schools that our volunteers and the National Education Directorates direct. In Turkiye, we prioritize supporting remote, underfunded, and resource-restricted village schools in need of supplies.
We present our children with school bags filled with various school supplies as gifts. Our bags include pencil cases, different types of pencils, erasers, sharpeners, drawing compasses, pastel/dry and watercolor painting sets, five types of notebooks, water bottles, lunch boxes, punched pockets, and labels. We meet our children's material needs for the upcoming school year with the help of our donors.
One school supply bag costs 550 TL.
